DUNBAR TWP SOCCER FIELD DIRECTIONS

Pittsburgh and points North using the Turnpike

Take the PA Turnpike to Exit 75 (New Stanton) and follow Route 119 South to Connellsville. After crossing the bridge spanning the Youghiogheny River, get into the right-hand lane. at the Second Stop Light make a hard right onto Route 201.  Proceed through the stop sign and you will be going towards Vanderbilt, PA on Route 201 North. Continue on Route 201 North, you will go up a hill and you will pass greenhouses on the right-hand side at the top of the hill.  Be prepared to turn left onto Ridge Blvd at the first four–way intersection which is at the base of the hill (there are no stop signs on Route 201 at this intersection as Route 201 has the right-of-way).  (Note: From the 5-way intersection to the left turn onto Ridge Blvd., it is exactly 1 mile.).  The Willow Inn Tavern is on your left as you approach the intersection. Continue on Ridge Blvd to Dunbar Township Elementary School on the left-hand side. Turn into School and the Soccer Fields are on your right.

From Route 51

   Route 51 to Route 201 South toward Connellsville.  (If coming from Pittsburgh on Route 51 South, there are two intersections with Route 201 off of Route 51, do not take the first one).  Follow Route 201 South approximately 9 miles and you will go through the village of Vanderbilt.  After leaving Vanderbilt, you will proceed down a large hill.  Be prepared to turn right onto Ridge Blvd at the first 4-way intersection at the base of the hill (there are no stop signs on Route 201 at this intersection as Route 201 has the right-of-way.)  The Willow Inn Tavern is on your right at this intersection. Turn right onto Ridge Blvd. Follow to Dunbar Township Elementary School which is on your left. Turn into School and Soccer Fields will be on your right.

From Uniontown and points South using Route 119 North

Follow Route 119 North into Connellsville.  After entering the 35mph zone, you will approach a big left hand curve with a car wash on your right.  You will need to get into the left hand land after proceeding through this curve.  At the first stoplight you reach, you will be at an intersection with a Sheetz on your left.  Turn left onto Crawford Avenue at this stoplight and move into the right hand lane.  After passing the Sheetz on your right, you will approach another stoplight with a Wendy’s on your left.  At this stoplight, you will bear right onto Route 201 North, you will go up a hill and you will pass greenhouses on the right-hand side at the top of the hill.  Be prepared to turn left onto Ridge Blvd at the first four–way intersection which is at the base of the hill (there are no stop signs on Route 201 at this intersection as Route 201 has the right-of-way).  (Note: From the 5-way intersection to the left turn onto Ridge Blvd., it is exactly 1 mile.)  The Willow Inn Tavern is on your left as you approach the intersection. Continue on Ridge Blvd to Dunbar Township Elementary School on the left-hand side. Turn left into the school entrance. The parking lots are on the left; the soccer fields are on the right.
